Designed to serve a collection of luxury villas, this project prioritized a harmonious blend of elegance and durability. Taking into account the unique tropical climate of the site, Doorwin Group delivered a tailored solution that seamlessly combines aesthetics and resilience.
This modern villa features a series of heavy-duty lift and slide doors, perfectly complementing the open floor plan.
In this project, we offer four panels of lift and slide doors. These doors showcase a stunning solid oak wood interior with extruded aluminum exterior cladding. Designed with large door panels for an unobstructed view, they are equipped with heavy-duty, German-made multi-point locking hardware for exceptional security and durability. Adhering to European design and standards, these doors surpass CE requirements for security, strength, and thermal and acoustic performance. Lift and slide doors enhance natural light in the home while providing a modern aesthetic.
Featuring a durable, high-performance thermal break aluminum frame specially treated to endure tropical marine climates, Doorwin Group boasts the highest hurricane resistance rating for heavy-duty glazed windows and doors. All products meet Florida building codes and standards, with tested certifications and energy efficiency credentials.
Whether it's the heavy-duty lift and slide door or the windows, all are reinforced with impact glass, also known as laminated glass. This type of glass features an exceptionally strong polymer layer sandwiched between two panes, providing reinforcement and keeping the glass intact even if it shatters. It helps protect properties and families from the devastating effects of hurricane-force winds.
In addition to strength, Doorwin Group systems also offer improved energy efficiency. The laminated insulating glazing, along with the Low-E coating and argon gas, blocks UV rays and enhances the building's overall thermal and sound insulation, even in extreme conditions.
Lift & Slide Doors offer an unobstructed view and significantly enhance the natural light in your home. They transform walls into doors! In essence, Lift & Slide Doors replace traditional walls and seamlessly integrate into your living space. We utilize four panels, featuring two fixed panels on each side and two movable panels in the center. This design allows for an abundance of natural light and introduces modern elements to your home.
The lift-and-slide door system separates the sliding and sealing functions from the locking mechanisms, allowing the door to virtually hover over the frame. Upon opening, the unique bogie design elevates the sash off the frame, engaging the gears for smooth sliding. When closing, the door panel descends, and the weather seals are enhanced by the weight of the sash. The lift-and-slide doors accommodate large sash sizes, allowing for frames up to 20 meters (66 ft) wide and 3.3 meters (11 ft) high, with a weight capacity of 400 kg (880 lbs) per sash.
Sliding Door with High-Performance Integral Blinds
Doorwin Group's built-in shutter technology features an aluminum frame with integrated blinds sealed between insulated glass panels. This design ensures maximum energy efficiency by providing precise manual or electronic control over the heat and sunlight entering the room. Doorwin Group's built-in shutter significantly reduces HVAC costs and allows for easy adjustment of sunlight and heat, while also preventing UV rays from damaging interior decorations.
IBlinds sealed between the glass panels of the door provide a maintenance-free solution for controlling light levels, reducing concerns about damaging the blinds over time. The blinds can be tilted, raised, and lowered for optimal control.

About Doorwin Group Packing & Shipping System
Doorwin Group's professional packing system ensures that all products are delivered safely and without damage. We utilize a four-point packing process. First, we apply adhesive plastic film to the interior wood frames and exterior aluminum frames to prevent scratches on the surface. Next, we wrap the entire windows and doors in air bubble film, followed by the application of paper board to avoid any damage or impact. Finally, we place the items in a sturdy, non-fumigation plywood crate to prevent any potential damage during transportation.
