Floor to ceiling windows finish excel rv by Doorwin on Alibaba
Those components that provide substantial protection from heat gain and heat loss and reduce the energy consumed by the whole building are considered energy efficient.
Double glazed windows
An ideal energy efficient solution is to reduce all forms of heat transfer. Double glazing is considered the vehicle for all high-performance windows, in climates hot, cold and mixed. When combined with low-e glass on at least one pane and argon gas in between, double glazing provides the best thermal performance. U-values as low as 1.8 are possible, compared with about 5 in the case of a single-glazed clear window.
The narrowest air gap used in double glazing is 6 mm, but this should be avoided unless there is no alternative. The use of wider gaps (10-20 mm) will improve the U-value and the configuration of 5mm glass +12air+5mm glass is the most popular with inexpensive price. In addition to double glazed windows, we also offer triple glass option to reach extraordinary great in performance.
Our double glazing glass and triple glazing glass have passed SGCC (Safety Glazing Certification Council )and IGCC ( Insulating Glass Certification Council) which means they are qualified for the Safety standard for safety glazing used in buildings and safety performance specifications.
Low-e coated glass
Low-e (low emissivity) glass uses a transparent coating to minimize the amount of heat passing through the glass while still allowing light through. This almost invisible coating reduces the U-value of the glass which measures how well a window prevents non-solar heat loss or gain. The lower the U-value, the greater a window's resistance to heat flow and the better its insulating value. And it is important to design on which side of the glass to coat Low E, different side Low E coated may affect opposite. There are professional engineers in our company who will design on which side of the glass to coat the Low E, and definitely will explain how it will work to reduce the heat transfer.
Window frames
To complement the glazing system, a frame with a low U-value assists in reducing the whole window U-value. Frames that use timber, composite aluminum/timber, or thermal break aluminum, design, outperform standard aluminum windows by providing advanced thermal performance. Timber is the preferred choice to be window frame because of its terrible heat transfer efficient. Our wood cladding aluminum frame is the upgraded frame of timber frame and thermal break aluminum. While timber performs better on energy efficient and cost less, but exterior timber side may rot, warp, peel or rust when they are installed in adverse weather condition, in normal weather condition, exterior timber side will last 10-15 years without any damage based on our timber treat technique. I’d like to show you Wood cladding aluminum frame, timber part thickness options we offer 68mm(2.67in) 78mm(3.07in), with aluminum cladding thickness is 20mm(0.79in), this type frame brings elegant wood type looking interior and strong structure exterior. If you’d like a window with wood cladding aluminum looking but with less cost, I recommend another type wood cladding aluminum which configured with thinner wood timber interior and thicker thermal break aluminum exterior.
Wood cladding aluminum frame is way heavy than thermal break aluminum frame, and with heavy double or triple glazing glass, the windows requires the hardware strictly. We selected Roto Brand and Truth Brand hardware to ensure the window can be open and close smoothly with less strength.
Good Weather Seals
Hot and cool air can escape or enter a home through gaps and cracks around sashes and frames. Our good window seals are essential to improving energy efficient performance with compression seals, as fitted to whatever casement and awning windows, tended to have superior air infiltration performance.
For all of these above, our windows performed extraordinary great in air tightness, moisture tightness, wind pressure and U factor, these specifications have been already tested and certified by CE certificate, NAMI certificate is also on the process. So, the quality of our windows is not guaranteed by us but also by National Inspection Institute.
Beside the quality of the windows we also offer individualized design like:
(Optional choice of produce technology and out looking)
Open type: H or V
Seamless welding (Nicer looking)
Non-finger joint wood (Nicer looking, but expensive)
Wood color
Glass Color
Glass decoration
Powder coating (which is strong)
Grid option (Colonial, Diamond, Prairie, perimeter)
Screen option
Build-in shutter
Even now you have some ideas of our windows, but maybe you still feel a little scary to purchasing overseas. You may worry about the package. Well, purchase huge value customized products like windows is really a brave idea. Our company are very precious of these buyers and will take care of the windows like our own house windows. We designed three layers of the package for each window:
adhesive protective film,
hardboard,
stretchable plastic wrap,
For one batch of windows, there will be durable Non-fumigation plywood crate to pack the windows, which provides good protection and prevents the windows and doors from being damaged during long shipping time. And no customers have complaint on glass breakage so far.

Which have the Beautiful and Fine furniture detailing with the most authentic look. Meanwhile with exterior aluminum cladding alleviating all concerns with wood.
Regarding Wood
The wood used on both Minimalist Design Series and Architect Design Series are processed to ensure proper moisture content for durability and strength. After treatment, our wood is resistant to decay, mold and mildew as well as termite damage. We use Henkel wood adhesive from Germany for the joints to ensure strength and low toxicity.
From the sample you can see the integrated continuum wood, which we adopted is non-finger joint.
Regarding Aluminum-Clad
Our virtually maintenance free cladding is made of the finest extruded aluminum. Unlike our competitors who use a thinner gauge aluminum, our 1.4mm thick aluminum assures outstanding rigidity and deformation resistance. Our standard finishing option is a polyester powder coat for superior resistance to scratches, flaking and fading. Fluorocarbon coat finishing is available at request for extreme environmental conditions.
Regarding Installation
This flange, also called Nail Fin in U.S., would makes the installation much easier and convenient that means you would pay less labor cost on installation. We has already applied for the Product Patent for movable nail fin in China, which is for the convenient transportation.
Regarding Screen
Usually we use the removable screens that you can easy to clean when it becomes dirty. And for the colors, we could make any kinds of color as your requirement.
1. Is the raw material stored in a climate controlled space for acclimation? For example, are there automatic spray misters monitored by sensors?
The wood material that we are using are all imported from Canada and America, which have been already treated professionally. Usually, the wood has been thoroughly air-dried and oven-dried to retain a certain percentage of moisture. We will control the moisture content of wood to meet the EMC of different climates, which helps to get better wood durability and strength. No possibility of deformation. Especially for the US market, we strictly follow the moisture content map.
2. What processes does Doorwin have to maintain quality control? Is the product inspected at regular intervals? How about the cutting machines? Is each shipment physically inspected before it leaves the factory? Do you have manufacturing certifications like ISO?
We maintain a quality management system which meets the requirements of ISO 9001 as a minimum and develop, manufacture and check the products according to the rules of this system.
We set up very high inspection standards both for choosing materials and every production processes.

6. What are your precise U-factors and SHGC values?
Actually, a window’s U-value and SHGC value are determined by many factors, for instance, the window opening styles, frame materials and structure, glass configurations (the number of panes, the type of glass, the type of spacer, the type of gas filled), hardware quality, sealant quality, as well as the rating method, etc.
So if customers have special requirements on U-factor and SHGC value, there is no problem for us to achieve by adjusting the frame materials, glass configurations, etc. For example, the U-factor 0.30-0.32 could be reach, even lower. Moreover, the Bureau’s testing report could be available for customer’s necessary need.
7. What are your payment options? Wire transfer? PayPal? Credit? Letter of credit? Deposit requirements? What if an order is cancelled? Are deposits refundable?
Payment by wire transfer is the most welcome method. The payment term is usually 50% deposit before production, and the balance payment to be made before shipment.
Irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight and payment by Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) are acceptable, while the PayPal is usually for samples payment.
If the customer wants to cancel the order, the deposit is refundable after deducting the expenses that have happened.
8. For doors, what options are available for thresholds and which specific brands and models do you use?
For most of the interior wood doors, there are not thresholds. For better acoustic and heat insulation purpose, German brand ADMAR door bottom seal are recommended.
For Entry doors, the thresholds can be customized according to customers’ requirements.
9. What door hardware is available? Ball bearing hinges? Handles and locks?
For door hardware, we only use European design hardware which is quality guaranteed. The hinges are ball bearing and there are plenty of handles and locks are available to choose. You will find one suits your taste. Here are some popular handle options for your reference.
10. Can you source and install a product at a customer’s request, such as a Baldwin lock from the U.S or at least cut the lockset openings based on the specifications?
Yes, we usually have customers want us to source some products for them in China.
If the handle/lockset and hinges are supplied by us, we will drill the holes for handle/lockset and cut for hinges in our workshop. If they are bought from local, these should be done on jobsite when installing the doors. It is risky if we do the drilling and cutout without having a real handle/lockset.
