Why Bifold Doors?
Faced with the region’s harsh winters and sizzling summers, the project demanded patio doors that could deliver year-round comfort. Our team recommended bifold doors made with thermal break aluminum profiles and Low-E laminated double glazing. This combination not only enhances energy efficiency but also ensures the home stays cozy in winter and cool in summer.
Initially considering sliding doors, the homeowner quickly fell in love with the versatility and charm of bifold doors after consulting with our experts. While sliding doors create a sleek “glass wall” effect, bifold doors offer a wider opening and an uninterrupted flow between indoor and outdoor spaces—perfect for garden parties, barbecues, and laid-back summer evenings.

Worried about sightlines or limited space? Bifold doors are surprisingly adaptable. Unlike sliding doors that require extra wall space, bifold doors fold neatly, stacking to one side. The result? More fresh air, natural light, and an open, inviting atmosphere.
Windows That Match the Vision
This project didn’t stop at doors. To complement the stunning bifold setup, we incorporated a suite of customized windows, including thermal break tilt-and-turn windows and trapezoid windows. Each window was designed with the same focus on energy efficiency and tailored functionality.
For optimal ventilation and energy performance, we introduced an innovative design: an upper fixed window paired with a lower tilt-and-turn system. This thoughtful detail ensures the home’s interior remains comfortable while maintaining its sleek modern aesthetic.

For ultra-large bifold patio doors, we use premium thermal break aluminum, featuring a polyamide bar (PA66 Nylon) from the renowned brand Technoform Bautec™. This innovative material creates a barrier between interior and exterior aluminum, minimizing heat transmission and achieving industry-leading U-factors ranging from 0.2 to 0.3. Additionally, our aluminum profiles boast a thickness of over 1.8 mm, making them sturdier and more durable than many competitors’ products.
Unmatched Customization:
Our bifold doors can accommodate ultra-large openings with up to 18 panels spanning a total width of 50 feet and a height of 10 feet. Ideal for both commercial and residential applications, they offer panoramic views and effortless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Glazing
The right glass makes all the difference, and Luvindow delivers:
· Standard Double-Pane Glass:
All our glazing options meet US standards and carry NFRC certifications. Our energy-efficient insulated glass units (IGU) include double or triple panes, warm-edge spacers, argon gas fill, Low-E coatings, and fully tempered glass. These features achieve a remarkable U-factor of 0.3, creating a comfortable indoor environment while saving $300–$500 annually on energy bills (depending on fenestration area).

5-Layers for the Safest Packaging
We export tens of millions of dollars of windows and doors to the U.S. every year, and we know that improper packaging can cause breakage of the product when it arrives on site, and the biggest loss from this is, I'm afraid, the cost of time, after all, workers on site have requirements of working time and it needs to wait for a new shipment to arrive in case of damage occurs to the goods. So, we pack each window individually and in four layers, and finally into (non-fumigated) wooden boxes, and at the same time, there will be a lot of shockproof measures in the container, to protect your products. We are very experienced in how to pack and protect our products to ensure they arrive at the sites in good condition after long-distance transportation. What the client concerned; we concern most.
